Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Riverwood Men's Club Charity Golf Tournament! Registration will open in the Summer. This year's tournament will benefit HUGS St. Johns, a 501(C)(3) organization that is making sure children in our community have what they need, including clothes that fit, meals to count on, and the dignity every child deserves.
HUGS (Hope, Unity, Giving, Support) St. Johns began in 2008 when local moms saw the effects of poverty in their children's classrooms. What started with sneakers and snacks has grown into a community movement ensuring children have what they need to thrive.
In St. Johns County, nearly 500 students are identified as homeless, and thousands more live in poverty. Too often, these kids attend school hungry, without proper shoes, or in clothing that no longer fits. From Ponte Vedra Beach to Nocatee, Julington Creek to Fruit Cove, St. Augustine to Hastings, thousands of our youngest neighbors have basic, unmet needs.
Through their community partnerships and dedicated volunteers, HUGS St. Johns ensures that St. Johns County children have the essentials to learn and grow. Their work directly impacts local families facing hardship, providing not just material support but also hope and dignity.
We are honored that the 2026 Riverwood Men's Club Charity Golf Tournament will support this vital organization and their mission in making sure every St. Johns County child has the essentials to learn and grow.
A huge thank you to our Del Webb Community residents, golfers and special sponsors for your support during the 2025 charity golf tournament held Monday, November 3rd at the Slammer & Squire golf course. The event raised approximately $42,000 to support the Veterans Council of St. Johns County and our local veterans in need.
Over the last ten years, your continuing generosity helped this event raise over $300,000 for local charities that are making a big difference and impact in the daily lives of many local disadvantaged children, young adults, and veterans.
